Technical and Assembly information

Auxiliary Pin configuration
The aux pin can be used for a couple different things, it can be used for an X endstop on the toolhead if you are going with the umbililcal MOD, to do this you need to wire up the x endstop as shown here:

the aux pin can also be used as a header for a plugged in chamber thermistor , to do this you need to wire the thermistor up as shown here

Klicky should be connected to signal (green) and ground (black) only.

Second piece PCB

Updated on 25th/June/2022 – 2nd piece PCB has now Dupont connectors for easily attach fans and RGB Leds. No need to solder anything at all. Check images for reference.

This second piece PCB is plugable with the main PCB which makes a breeze for maintenance! Check the video once again!
It’s designed to receive the 4010 fan, 5015 fan and RGBW leds. You can connect the fans and RGBW Leds with the duponts connectors that we also supply. No need to solder them to this 2nd PCB.
The A1 and A2 inputs are optional because they refer to FS and AUX which can be connected directly into the main PCB but if you prefer you can connect them to this second piece PCB.

If you are a new user

There is a diagram to connect the StealthBurner PCB to the Bigtree Tech Octopus (click in the picture to expand):

If you are upgrading from Afterburner to StealthBurner

The New SealthBurner toolhead PCB doesn’t have a inbuilt chamber thermistor soldered at the PCB, for that reason, please remove all the config code lines at your printer.cfg. If you still like to have a chamber thermistor we recommend you to buy our external plug-in chamber thermistor.

Don’t forget that you need to recrimp everything from JST XH 2.54 to PH 2.00mm.

The parts cooling fan is now a 5015 blower dual ball 24v fan and the extruder fan is still a 4010 dual ball 24v fan.

You need to print the new printed parts for the extruder and also carriage (still beta)

There is now a mount for the accelerometer ADXL345 inbuilt in the toolhead.

The default rail is now MGN12 with the new voron v2.4 rev2 and it’s mandatory for the CW2.

The new stealtburner needs news screws and heat inserts and also a new round pancake stepper motor.

There is also an awsome change: the RGBW leds to lighten up the nozzle and visually indicate status at front voron logo.

There are some minor changes that you need to do at your mother board, please check this comparison:

Hartk ERCF Toolhead PCB -> New SB PCB

Don’t recrimp anything at all. Don’t touch the black microfit 3.0 2×7 or 2×1 connector. You only need to change 2 or 3 wires on the octopus board and nothing else. Remember that there are 3 differences between the the old Hartk ERCF on the AB and the new Hartk SB board. CT changed to 5V, 5V changed to LED and XES to AUX.
At your motherboard remove the chamber thermistor connector and place it in a 5v Output (eg. any fan. check polarity).
Remove the 5v cable from it’s position and use it to control the RGB Leds (eg. J37 PB0 pin Octopus Board.)
X endstop is now “auxiliary” and probably for most users it means that is the External Chamber thermistor, move it to a thermistor input.

Make changes to your printer.cfg according this new setup.

Hartk v4.0 Toolhead PCB -> New SB PCB
You need two new cables. One of new RGBW Leds and another for the filament Sensor. If you don’t use the ERCF project or you don’t want a filament sensor just keep on moving. If you need a filament sensor please click here to buy it. At your motherboard switch the thermistor cable for the 5v Output.

X endstop is now “auxiliary” and probably for most users it means that is the External Chamber thermistor.
